The Type BD1 BeamClamp is specifically designed to hook over the edge of beam flanges or the toes of angles or channels. They can be used together for channel to channel connections or in conjunction with other clamping products for making angle/channel connections to other types of steel. The BD1 features a flat top to allow a nut and washer to be tightened onto it. It is suitable for use with bolts, threaded rod or other threaded items but the use of grade 5 or B7 high tensile threaded items is recommended.
